Brussels Griffon Breeder for Boston and Massachusetts
Searching for Brussels Griffon puppies for sale in Massachusetts? DragonflyCats has been breeding for over 15 years near Montreal, Quebec, and we welcome families from Boston, Cambridge, Worcester, the Berkshires and Cape Cod. Our puppies are raised in a warm family home with other dogs and cats, and they go home with AKC limited registration, a microchip and Embark genetic testing.
Our goal as a Brussels Griffon breeder Massachusetts families trust is to place a healthy, well-adjusted companion who feels just as at home in a Back Bay apartment as in a colonial house in the suburbs.
Brussels Griffon puppies for Greater Boston and beyond
Massachusetts families often combine city and small-town life: triple-deckers in Somerville, condos in the Seaport, college towns like Amherst and Northampton, and quiet neighborhoods on the North and South Shores. Many are young professionals, academics or remote workers who spend a lot of time at home and want a small dog that truly shares their days. That is where a Brussels Griffon shines.
New England weather also plays a role. Boston winters bring snow, slush and wind, while summers can be hot and sticky. A Griffon adapts well to both with a few simple habits: a sweater and shorter walks in January, early morning or evening outings in July, and plenty of indoor play all year long.
We welcome families from all over the Commonwealth, including:
- Boston
- Cambridge
- Somerville
- Brookline
- Newton
- Quincy
- Lowell
- Salem
- Worcester
- Framingham
- Springfield
- Northampton
- Plymouth
- Cape Cod

The perfect work-from-home companion
The Brussels Griffon is a toy breed of about 7 to 12 lb with a bearded, almost human face and a surprisingly big personality. It is curious, alert and very attached to its people. Many owners describe their Griffon as a little shadow that follows them from the desk to the kitchen and back, which makes it an ideal companion for people who work from home or have flexible schedules.
Because it bonds so closely, a Griffon is not the best fit for very long days alone. It does, however, need only moderate exercise: a couple of walks, some games and time on your lap. Our puppies are used to household sounds, textures and gentle handling from people of all ages, so they are prepared for a busy home, visitors and the occasional video call.
Bringing your Brussels Griffon home to Massachusetts

U.S. rules currently require dogs entering the United States to be at least 6 months old, microchipped, and accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt. We confirm the latest requirements with you before travel and plan the timing together. The advantage for you: your puppy arrives older, well socialized and comfortable with handling and routines, which helps it settle quickly into its new Massachusetts home.
We handle all aspects of the transaction, including paperwork and health certificates, and we plan the transport with you. Shipping costs are extra, and customs or brokerage fees are the buyer’s responsibility. We confirm every detail at reservation and stay available for advice after adoption.

Frequently asked questions
Do you place Brussels Griffon puppies in the Boston area?
Yes. We are located near Montreal, Quebec, and we welcome families from Greater Boston and all of Massachusetts. We plan your puppy’s arrival together and confirm the details at reservation.
What do I need to bring a puppy from Canada to Massachusetts?
U.S. rules currently require dogs entering the United States to be at least 6 months old, microchipped, and accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt. We confirm the latest requirements with you and plan the timing together, so your puppy arrives older and well socialized.
Is a Brussels Griffon a good fit if I work from home?
Yes. Griffons are very people-oriented and love to stay close to their owners, so a home office is ideal. They are less suited to households where they would be alone for long days.
How does a Griffon handle New England weather?
A Griffon is comfortable with a sweater and shorter walks in winter. In summer, as a short-muzzled breed, it should walk during cooler hours and avoid exertion in heat and humidity.
What comes with a Brussels Griffon puppy?
Each puppy comes with AKC limited registration, age-appropriate vaccination, a microchip, a Royal Canin starter kit, health records, 30 days of Trupanion insurance, Embark genetic testing and a 1-year congenital and hereditary warranty.
