Brussels Griffon Breeder Serving Toronto & the GTA
Searching for a Brussels Griffon breeder you can trust from Toronto, Mississauga or anywhere in the GTA? DragonflyCats has been raising Brussels Griffons for over 15 years near Montreal, and as a Brussels Griffon breeder Toronto families can count on, we are proud to place puppies with families in Ontario. Every puppy grows up in our family home with other dogs and cats, used to gentle handling, household sounds and people of all ages.
From a downtown condo with a balcony view to a family home in Oakville or Markham, we take the time to understand your lifestyle so your Griffon settles in happily.
Brussels Griffon puppies for sale in the GTA
Toronto is roughly 550 km from Montreal, so your puppy will travel to you. You do not have to navigate that on your own: we handle the paperwork and health certificates and plan the transport with you, and all details are confirmed at reservation. Shipping costs are extra.
The Griffon is well suited to life in the GTA. High-rise living, elevators and busy sidewalks are manageable for a small, adaptable dog that is happiest right beside you. In the suburbs of Brampton, Vaughan or Richmond Hill, a fenced yard is a bonus but not a requirement: short daily walks and indoor play keep a Griffon content.
We welcome families across the Greater Toronto Area, including:

A toy breed made for condo life
At roughly 3 to 5 kg (7 to 12 lb), the Brussels Griffon is one of the easiest dogs to share a condo with. It does not need a big yard or long runs, and its moderate energy suits apartment floors and busy schedules. What it does need is people: Griffons are true velcro dogs that thrive when someone is home, which makes them a great match for remote and hybrid workers.
Toronto summers can be hot and humid, and as a brachycephalic (short-muzzled) breed, a Griffon should never be pushed to exercise in the heat. Plan walks for early morning or evening, avoid hot pavement and keep air conditioning handy. Rough or smooth, the coat stays tidy with regular brushing. Read more about the Brussels Griffon.
