Brussels Griffon puppies for sale in Alberta

Alberta is thousands of kilometres from Montreal, so your puppy travels to you. We handle the paperwork and health certificates and plan the transport together, and every detail is confirmed at reservation. Shipping costs are extra.

Many Alberta families live in growing suburbs with busy schedules: school runs in Airdrie, commutes across Edmonton, weekends in the mountains. A Griffon fits in well because it is small, portable in a carrier and happiest simply being included. It is also a lovely companion for empty nesters and retirees who want a devoted dog without the exercise needs of a larger breed.

We welcome families in both major centres and nearby communities:

  • Calgary
  • Edmonton
  • Airdrie
  • Cochrane
  • Okotoks
  • Chestermere
  • St. Albert
  • Sherwood Park
  • Spruce Grove
  • Leduc
  • Red Deer
  • Canmore

Keeping a small dog cozy through prairie winters

Alberta winters can be long and bitterly cold, and a toy breed of roughly 3 to 5 kg (7 to 12 lb) feels the chill quickly. A well-fitted coat, booties or paw balm to protect against ice and de-icing salt, and short potty breaks on the coldest days go a long way. Indoor games and puzzle toys help burn energy when it is too cold to linger outside.

Summers bring the opposite concern: as a brachycephalic (short-muzzled) breed, the Griffon is sensitive to heat, so avoid exertion on hot days and never leave it in a car. Year-round, what a Griffon wants most is to be close to you, earning its reputation as the ultimate velcro dog. Learn more about the Brussels Griffon.
