Brussels Griffon puppies for sale in Metro Vancouver

British Columbia is a long way from Quebec, so your puppy travels to you. We handle the paperwork and health certificates and plan the transport together, confirming every detail at reservation. Shipping costs are extra.

West Coast living suits a Griffon beautifully. Compact condos in Yaletown or Metrotown, townhouses in Coquitlam and family homes in Surrey all work for a small dog that prefers your company to a big backyard. Vancouver’s mild climate is also kind to a short-muzzled breed, with fewer extreme heat days than many parts of Canada, although summer heat waves still call for caution.

We welcome families across the Lower Mainland and beyond, including:

  • Vancouver
  • Burnaby
  • Surrey
  • Richmond
  • North Vancouver
  • West Vancouver
  • Coquitlam
  • Port Moody
  • New Westminster
  • Langley
  • Delta
  • Maple Ridge
  • Victoria
  • Kelowna

Coat care and everyday life with a Griffon

Brussels Griffons come in two coat types. The rough coat is wiry and gives the breed its famous bearded look; it benefits from regular brushing and occasional hand-stripping or grooming. The smooth coat is short and glossy and needs little more than a weekly brush. On rainy Vancouver days, either type dries quickly with a towel, and a light raincoat keeps walks pleasant.

Whatever the coat, the personality is the same: affectionate, clever and very attached to its people. At roughly 3 to 5 kg (7 to 12 lb), a Griffon fits easily into a condo lifestyle and is happiest with a family that enjoys having a small shadow. Discover more on our Brussels Griffon page.
